This conference will be day 1 of a two part series on Making a difference: Establishing evidence, Measuring Impact, and Monitoring Progress.

The solutions to many of the world's health challenges are in the world already - just not in the right place or in the right hands.  Often it is those who are disempowered, the marginalised or those working in other discourses who have solutions to questions that we are asking. The task ahead for Global Health is to reframe and rethink intractable problems based on a range of "unexpected" evidence emerging from local and global partners.

This first day will explore how evidence already gathered from diverse fields can be translated into change.

( Day 2 will be held in the spring 2013)
