Joint 4th Neisseria Vaccines Meeting / 1st Workshop on Meningitis & Septicaemia

Both meetings will enhance the opportunities of cross-fertilization and scientific exchange on several contact points between these fields, on the common ground of clinical, immunology, and biotechnology. The scientific program is conceived to boost open and deep discussions of hot topics. New basic immunology Keynote addresses with oral presentations and interactive poster sessions will give a unique opportunity for exchanging ideas and foster cooperation among colleagues from academic and clinical research institutions, industry, and regulatory agencies, from developed and low income countries.

During this LabNote project, SynthSys, based in the Waddington Building, Kings Buildings, collaborated with a composer from the University of Glasgow and a freelance filmmaker to create an artistic piece inspired by the liquid handling robot housed in the KPF and used by many researchers across the University and beyond.

EVIMalaR seeks to continue some of the best BioMalPar initiatives, including the annual meeting at EMBL. EVIMalaR is Europe’s biggest malaria research institute, involving 62 research groups from around the world and undertakes world-leading research into the malaria parasite and identifying targets for new drug therapies.
