This RCPE Symposium will provide an opportunity to hear world-leading experts speaking on a range of topical issues in global health. This will include an in-depth session on the Ebola outbreak featuring leading international experts engaged both globally and locally, while also considering major global health issues such as the Sustainable Development Goals; focusing on how to respond to the non-communicable disease and the neonatal mortality challenges in low- income and middle-income countries; looking in detail at the challenges thrown up by progress in maternal health; and considering successful example of vaccine introduction and roll-out in all countries. There will also be an opportunity to view posters showing examples of student projects in low-income and middle-income countries.
