Academics to tackle industry problems in infection research at AIMDay on 30 November

Would you like some of Scotland’s most innovative minds working on your Company’s challenges in Infection Research?

Academic Industry Meeting day, or AIMday, is built around individual company workshops. Questions posed by each company are discussed in a one hour workshop with academics who have specific knowledge in the area in question, with the aim of identifying possible pathways to a solution.

AIMday Infection, will be held on 30 November 2016.

This workshop will blend a range of academic disciplines together for a short period of time which can spark innovative and creative solutions to commercial problems.

We now invite questions from companies and organisations around topics such as antimicrobial resistance, diagnosis of infection, as well as the treatment and prevention of infections.  Each question will be communicated to academics across the University of Edinburgh who will then self-select the questions most applicable to their research.  One question, one hour, a group of academic experts – the AIMday format is unique.

  • Company/Organisation registration for this event will be open until 30 September 2016.
  • Reigster at http://aimday.se/infection-edinburgh-2016/
  • Academic registration will open on 3 October until 4 November 2016.
